Special Interest Networks of Texas Chapter of the APA

There are a variety of special interest networks within the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association (TexasAPA). These networks must be sanctioned by the TexasAPA Board of Directors and must have a minimum of twenty five (25) members to become a "Network". The following Networks are currently sanctioned by TexasAPA.

City Planners Association of Texas (CPAT)
Environmental Network
Urban Design Network
International Network
Planning and Law Network
Professional Development Network
Transportation Network
Women & Planning Network

 Potential Networks of the TexasAPA

In order for a special interest Network to be established, a petition of twenty-five (25) members must be submitted to the TexasAPA Board for approval. This portion of the TexasAPA Internet site is intended to allow communication between members on topics which potentially could turn into Networks if there is sufficient interest shown. The following potential network sites are available for review.
