Responsibilities: Position plays a major role in update of the
Citys Comprehensive Plan, which was last updated 15 years ago. Duties include
research, analysis, computer mapping, illustrations, facilitating citizen participation,
developing policies and means of implementation, and drafting and editing text. The Plan
is to be completed summer 1999 and updated annually. Looking for experienced individual
with strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications: Minimum is Masters degree in Urban and Regional
Planning or related field, OR Bachelors degree in above fields PLUS 2 years of above
experience OR other combination of training and experience. AICP and experience and
training in land use, transportation and GIS preferred.

Senior Planner - Neighborhood Planning
